Living and Working in Harmony and Friendship: The Parks & East Walcot Forum is a new channel for the local community which cares about it’s local environment in which we live and work together to encourage friendship to make it a truly pleasurable place to live and work. There have been concerns about New College, however, it is felt these problems result from thoughtlessness and all of us can be thoughtless at times. With good will and respect on all sides, New College students and staff and the local community can live and work together in harmony and friendship for the greater good of all. Please see full letter attached. Thank you. |

How to identify a Stroke: Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions: S *Ask the individual to SMILE. T *Ask the person to TALK and SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE (Coherently) (i.e. It is sunny out today.) R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS. If he or she has trouble with ANY ONE of these tasks, call emergency number immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher. New Sign of a Stroke -------- Stick out Your Tongue - Ask the person to 'stick' out his tongue.. If the tongue is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke. If a person has these symptoms seek medical help immediately, full details attached.
